Safe Guarding

Mr Jesse is a PUMA qualified instructor who holds a TaeKwon-Do 2nd Degree Black Belt & a KickBoxing 3rd Degree Black Black. He has a First Aid qualification, PUMA Child Safety certified, enhanced DBS and is fully insured.

As an organisation, P.U.M.A. takes safeguarding very seriously. There is a dedicated syllabus for children and a comprehensive safeguarding code of conduct.

​

The designated safeguarding lead for P.U.M.A. is Ms Louise Reeve, IV Degree. Ms Reeve is a CPD certified safeguarding trainer and DSL level 3. Her specialist areas include teaching children with special educational needs (SEN) and theraputic teaching.

           Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts

​

The code has been developed in consultation with Sport England, and demonstrates a Martial Arts club's commitment to upholding their duty of care to the community and young people, and that they have reached and effectively maintained good safeguarding standards.
